This looks like a good walk, maybe we should try this one.
Re: Bothwell Castle to David Livingstone Centre, Blantyre
It was a great walk this morning. I am sure the dogs would love it as much as Molly did this morning. Once you reach David Livingstone Centre there is a coffee shop where you can buy coffee/tea etc to take away before you walk back.

Look forward to doing this walk with you all as a group. I walked it myself today and actually phoned Bob and told him where I was in case I didn't come home tonight not because I would get lost but it is a lonely place on your own. I only met a couple with their dog, the one in the water, another lady with a westie and then on my way back I met another lady.

Have checked out the pictures on your site it looks really good i think we should all go on this walk on Sat. Can you give us all instructions on how to get there or post code so we can put it in the sat nav. Don't know what the weather is for sat i will wait till middle of week to see.
What the Met Office Weather Just Now
Rather cold and windy at first with showers or longer spells of rain, wintry on high ground, especially in the north. The showers concentrated across eastern parts of the United Kingdom later in the weekend and at first next week. For much of the remainder of next week, many central and western parts becoming dry with clear or sunny periods and rather cold, wintry showers affecting eastern coastal areas. Overnight frost and fog patches are likely to develop, fog over central parts of Britain slow to clear at times, so cold in those areas. Later next week, unsettled conditions, with nearer normal temperatures, returning to northern parts of Britain bringing rain and strong winds, these more unsettled conditions extending southeastwards, followed by rather cold, showery conditions to end the period.
Will wait it could change.

Hi looking forward to the walk on Saturday. The postcode is G71 8BL for the satnav. If you are coming on the M73 you would need to go onto the M74 and then come off at the Raith interchange at Strathclyde Park and there are signs for Bothwell Castle - I think it is the B7071 road.
Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
