I've sort of walked this!

It's part of the West Highland Way, obviously the loop back to Milngavie takes you a different way back to Milngavie as the WHW goes a wee bitty further.

If you wanted to do it I would suggest leaving half the cars at the Beachtree Inn (I think thats what it's called) then driving back to Milngavie, so we could walk back to the Inn for a snack or drink. It has a largish beer garden so the dogs could join us if it was a fair day.

This would make it roughly 6-7 miles, I think.

There is always Crail to Anstruther chippy and back to Crail.

We spoke about this walk last week, Margaret was hooked as soon as she heard "CHIPPY".

Only thing is it's a 1 and half hour drive from Cumbernauld so would prob be better car sharing for this one too.

BTW, the Beechtree Inn is normally the lunch break for the first day of the WHW, so only walking to here could be done in a half day.
